About The Position
Candidates for welding positions at Porta-King Building Systems will possess, at a minimum, the following qualifications: Will consider training the right candidate. We offer competitive wages and an excellent benefits package. Our primary shifts typically run from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read a tape measure required.
- Must be able to use various tools and power tools including but not limited to chop saw, band saw, etc.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 20 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Must be able to climb a ladder repetitively.
- Must be able to read and write using basic English skills and be able to perform basic math calculations.
- Must be able to read detailed drawings.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment background screenings including a drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to use a plasma cutter preferred but not required.
