About The Position

The Welder produces accurate, quality parts according to instructions and within specified time frames, using appropriate tools and equipment while meeting safety and quality standards. The role involves making adjustments to meet factory settings and specifications by interpreting schematics and engineering documents. The position includes MIG welding and fabrication of materials and parts, maintaining tools and the workspace, communicating work status and issues to management, and following company policies and safety and environmental programs.

Requirements

At least 3 years of MIG welding experience.
Mathematical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work harmoniously with others, accept and follow instructions, and maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to lift an average weight of 25 pounds daily.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in manufacturing and production.
Experience driving a forklift and using measuring tools.
ISO experience.

Responsibilities

Set up weld machines.
Read and understand blueprints.
Weld materials from 20-gauge to 10-gauge.
Weld laser-gauge parts, automation covers, and small parts.
Perform MIG welding using 0.35-inch welding wire.
Use air tools.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace.
Keep management informed of work status and issues.
Perform accurate, quality fabrication within required time frames.
Comply with established policies and clock in and out of work orders.
Act on constructive feedback, improve processes, uphold work standards, and contribute to the team.
Maintain a professional attitude and technical knowledge.
Participate in company safety programs and comply with the corporate environmental, health, and safety program.
