Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble and weld parts or frames according to print specifications and inspect your own work to ensure quality. You’ll play an important role in producing high-quality components that support our global customers.

Requirements

Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Comfortable using power tools, grinders, and hand tools.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

Weld and assemble parts or frames based on print specifications using MIG or TIG welding methods.
Align and clamp materials together using rules, squares, vises, fixtures, or hand tools to ensure accurate fit-up.
Clean parts before welding using wire brushes, grinders, files, or chemical solutions to remove dirt, rust, or excess material.
Grind, cut, buff, or bend workpieces to ensure a tight and precise fit before welding.
Examine completed welds for defects such as cracks or weak joints; repair or rework as needed to meet quality standards.
Conduct routine inspections of your own work to ensure it meets all quality and safety requirements.
Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.
