This role is for a certified B Pressure Welder who is passionate about safety and wants to join a dynamic maintenance team at the Base plant site. You will use your expertise for the maintenance and repair of assets by performing predictive and preventative maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and to a high quality to ensure optimum reliability and availability.

Requirements

• A Valid Alberta Journeyperson Welder Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Welder Certificate
• B-Pressure certification
• Five years of post-apprenticeship experience in heavy-industrial welding environment
• A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and repair of pressure components and piping, as duties vary from piping to pressure vessel and structural applications in a large, multi-disciplined shop
• Execute all planned and break in welding repairs
• Operate company-provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner
• Evaluate maintenance procedures, and recommend changes or modifications for improved efficiency and adaptability to setup and production
