About The Position
Performs welding for process piping to meet ASME codes and standards. Uses appropriate hand tools, power tools and other equipment (e.g. grinders, welding machines, etc.) to accomplish tasks as assigned. Performs structural welding tasks. Maintains piping systems and tanks. Assembles pipe systems as fabricated. Operates forklift, cherry picker and other industrial machinery as needed to complete work orders. Assists other crafts as needed. Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- NCCER certified as an Industrial Welder
- Minimum of three year's experience as a Welder in a chemical plant environment
- Mechanical aptitude
