About The Position

Signal Energy is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform welding tasks on various metals. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality standards, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina and the ability to use various tools and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Must pass a welding test.

Nice To Haves

• Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.
• Ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
