We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our production team. In this role, you will perform precision hand and robotic welding operations across multiple positions to ensure mechanical strength and quality on standardized assemblies and products. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone passionate about metalworking and committed to operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Prior welding experience (hands-on welding or formal training required)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with standard welding equipment and safety practices
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working in positions requiring extended standing, bending, and repetitive motions

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in MIG, TIG, or spot welding
  • Experience with welding robots or automated systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S/TPM)
  • Experience with metric and imperial measurement systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform multiple welding processes including MIG, TIG, and spot welding using various materials and specifications
  • Operate welding robots and automated equipment to achieve proper metal fusion
  • Set up work stations independently and execute welding according to technical drawings and process routings
  • Grind parts according to specifications and routing requirements
  • Read, interpret, and work to blueprint and written specifications (including metric measurements)
  • Maintain high quality standards by inspecting parts before transferring to subsequent work centers
  • Stay current with process changes by reviewing job routings and updated specifications
  • Execute 5S and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities to maintain shop cleanliness, tool organization, and equipment functionality
  • Report quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
