About The Position

Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. This position offers customized jobs that allow the welder to use their experience and expertise, moving away from repetitive production welding roles. The job requires travel, typically 1-2 weeks at a time.

Requirements

• SMAW (stick) experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to travel (1-2 weeks at a time)
• Flexible time off
• Team player mentality
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Satisfactorily pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check (DUI, reckless driving, or excessive at-fault accidents may be disqualifying).

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks utilizing SMAW (stick) method.
• Travel for job assignments (1-2 weeks at a time).
• Work as a team player.
