Welder-Trainee Location: Miamisburg, OH Training Class Starts July 28th, 2026 About Accelevation We build what the future runs on. Accelevation designs, manufactures and installs the physical infrastructure that powers today’s most advanced technologies. We’ve grown over 440% in the last 18 months because we take ownership, solve hard problems, and build with purpose. Join us to build the future. Your Impact As a Welder-Trainee at Accelevation, you will learn to perform MIG welds and build steel assemblies, preparing you for a Production Welder role. This entry-level position is specifically designed for individuals with little to no prior welding experience who want to start a welding career. It serves as an alternative for individuals who want to become a welder without having to attend traditional welding school programs. Welder-Trainees complete a four-week, hands-on training course led by a dedicated Accelevation School of Welding instructor. Training begins with welding safety and machine setup, progressing to basic welds within the first week. In weeks two and three, you will practice welding on components, followed by a simulated assembly line experience in week four. Successful completion of the program will transition you into a Welder I position on one of the following shifts: first shift (Monday–Thursday), second shift (Monday–Thursday), or weekend shift (Friday–Sunday). While a Welder-Trainee in the School of Welding you will learn how to set up parts for welding, utilize hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures to ensure precision and quality, interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to execute work accurately.
