About The Position

SPATCO is looking for an experienced welder & pipefitter to join the petroleum construction team. This role involves welding carbon steel fuel piping in all positions, performing pipefitting, layout, and installation work, and reading/interpreting plans and blueprints. The position also includes assisting with fueling system construction and installation, completing field welds and fabrication safely, and supporting field crews. A strong safety mindset and collaborative teamwork are essential.

Requirements

• Experience welding pipe in all positions required
• Ability to pass an in-house 6G weld test (coupon tack and weld-out)
• Pipefitting experience required
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist beyond welding responsibilities

Nice To Haves

• 6G pipe welding experience strongly preferred
• OSHA 10 preferred (training available if needed)
• Experience reading blueprints and prints preferred
• Petroleum/fueling construction experience is a plus, but adjacent industrial or construction backgrounds are also welcomed
• 6G certification is preferred but not required upfront
• Strong performers are flexible, dependable, safety-focused, and willing to support the team wherever needed

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel fuel piping in all positions

• Support crews with additional field tasks as needed
