About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Welder Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with machinery, driving a forklift, and possess a understanding of metal fabrication operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools effectively. As a Welder Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating heating elements, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards by using a CNC operated laser welding machine.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools for precise work.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while on-site.

Proven experience in a construction site environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks using Laser Welding on various materials.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete welding projects.
Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with team members on construction site operations and rigging tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Use basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
Operate forklifts as needed for lifting heavy materials during the welding process.
