About The Position

Czarnowski is seeking a welder with experience in various metals (aluminum, steel, stainless steel) and metalworking equipment (bender, grinders, saw). The candidate must be able to read blueprints and have at least three years of metal shop experience. This role is responsible for the complete fabrication of metal components used in building tradeshow displays for clients, requiring high quality standards and accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience in different types of metals (including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel).
• Experience using multiple types of metal equipment (including bender, grinders, saw, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Minimum of three years of experience working in a metal shop.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a basic set of tools and welding gear.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.

Nice To Haves

• Construction background helpful.
• Exhibit industry and installation experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum and steel using MIG and TIG welders.
• Perform basic machining and fabrication.
• Read blueprints and/or other written/oral instructions to determine fabrication and welding methods.
• Create a cut list and track all material used.
• Operate machinery safely and report hazards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain and produce a high-level quality of output, monitoring own work for quality.
• Utilize good time management skills to complete jobs in a timely manner and within budget.
• Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies.
