About The Position

Requires ability to operate Mig Welding equipment and perform production Mig Welding on medium to heavy parts to customer quality requirements. Must be an experienced Mig Welder.

Requirements

• Previous experience with production MIG welding.
• Ability to operate Mig Welding equipment.
• Ability to perform production Mig Welding on medium to heavy parts to customer quality requirements.
• Must be able to work in environment with welding robots.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs, twist, bend, squat, climb, stand and walk continuously in close, confined surroundings.
• Demonstrate good attendance & disciplinary record.

Responsibilities

• Record statistical data and/or meter/gage readings.
• Support and adhere to the requirements of the Quality and Environmental Systems.
• Make repairs if necessary to production parts.
• Set up Mig welder.
• Setup proper gas mixtures.
• Run production Mig welding.
• Run production equipment.
• Prepare any and all paperwork required.
• Work within a team environment.
