About The Position

Our Welders are responsible for Mig welding, using spray arc transfer processes to weld pipes, cyclones, and other applications. This role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment. The welder will also operate and maintain robotic welding equipment, set up and adjust welding equipment, monitor the welding process, and perform routine maintenance.

Requirements

Proven experience Mig Welding with Spray Arc Transfer or Short Arc transfer Welding.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Work as a team within department and with other departments and Leads.
Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.
Must be able to stand, sit and bend in a normal welding shop.

Fabricating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Mig welding, using spray arc transfer processes to weld pipes, cyclones, and other applications.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.
Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
Weld components in flat and vertical welding positions.
Examine finished work pieces to verify conformance with specifications.
Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment.
Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as needed.
Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
Follow instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projects.
