Welder / Maintenance Repair Technician Responsible for performing welding, fabrication, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on PLC-controlled baggage handling, conveyor systems, and related equipment. Welding & Fabrication Responsibilities Perform welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding processes as required. Must possess a current 3G welding certification Demonstrate the ability to perform quality welds in various positions. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, welding symbols, and related documentation. Fabricate, modify, repair, and install metal components, brackets, supports, guards, frames, and other structures. Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and other metal fabrication activities as needed. Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure proper fit, quality, and functionality. Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe and organized condition. Maintenance Repair Technician Responsibilities Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of PLC controlled baggage, conveyor systems, and related equipment, components, and systems. Provide concise, accurate, and sufficiently detailed data for input of all maintenance information. Perform mechanic duties including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor and control systems. Drive and operate different equipment such as golf cart, company vehicles, forklift, etc. Support the operations with clearing bag jams. Assist with the development and ensure proper input of the maintenance data into the computerized maintenance management system. Respond to maintenance calls when required and/or requested. Comply with company safety program and trainings. Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
