About The Position

This position requires proficiency in all Welder 2 requirements and expertise in both MIG and TIG welding across all positions. The individual will be responsible for identifying and addressing workflow issues, ensuring quality welds through proper fitting of parts, and providing guidance to Welder 1 and Welder 2 personnel. To maintain Welder 3 status, the associate must be capable of performing any station within the department, meeting cycle times, and adhering to all shop rules. This role emphasizes leading by example in safety, attendance, behavior, and performance.

Requirements

• Proficient in all Welder 2 requirements.
• Proficient in all MIG and TIG weld / positions.
• Understanding of fabrication and correctly fitting parts to ensure quality welds.
• Must be able to provide guidance and instruction when needed to Welder 1 or 2.
• Capable of performing any station in the department while meeting cycle times.
• Adhering to ALL shop rules.
