About The Position

This is a full-time position for an experienced Welder I. The role involves welding small parts and simple weldments, operating welding equipment safely, and utilizing technology for job processing and communication. The position requires adherence to company policies, including attendance and mandatory overtime when business conditions require it. The Welder I will also assist in training employees in the work center.

Requirements

• 2+ years of fabrication experience or training is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fixtures, jigs, clamps, and quality inspection tools is essential.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (100+ lbs.) and perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing.
• Conduct yourself in a professional, safe, and businesslike manner while maintaining a highly motivated, positive, and collaborative attitude.
• Can make the daily commute to Spring Park, MN and maintain good attendance.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, full panel drug screening, and physical work simulation.
• Completion of necessary training requirements provided by SRC.

Nice To Haves

• Welding helmet, Safety glasses, Welding jacket and gloves
• Can weld using the GMAW process

Responsibilities

• Ability to pass certification test when instructed
• Ability to weld small parts and simple weldments when instructed
• Safe operations of all welding equipment and proper use of all PPE
• Utilize technology for processing jobs and communication
• Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion
• Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
• Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it
• Adherence to the attendance policy
• All other duties as required
