About The Position

This role involves assisting welders in an industrial construction environment. The Welder Helper will be responsible for supporting various stages of the welding process, from equipment setup to material preparation and positioning. Safety is a paramount concern, and the individual must adhere to all safety regulations and company standards. The position requires a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, may be necessary to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Experience in an industrial construction environment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
• A positive attitude, self-motivated, eagerness to learn and a willingness to work hard every day.
• An ability to lead by a positive example and a commitment to working as a team.
• Attention and commitment to safety and an ability to follow instructions.
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record if assigned to a company vehicle.
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selecting appropriate equipment for the job or project.
• Assist in securing parts into position for welding.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for welding.
• Assist in the setting up of equipment for the job.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on site.
• Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
