About The Position
Assist in the fabrication process to include installing and repairing pipes using welding methods, completing jobs on time and ensuring safety on a job site.
Requirements
- Effective Communication Skills - Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Must be able to stand on concrete for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop.
- Must be able to grip and operate hand tools with a minimum of 50 in/lbs. of force
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. for at least 15 feet.
- Eye Protection must be worn at all times when in certain production areas.
- Foot Protection required
- 1 - 2 years manufacturing experience preferred
- General knowledge of welding standards and pipework
- General knowledge of tools and equipment used in metal fabrication
- General knowledge of measurements and measuring devices
Nice To Haves
- Marine, Automotive, or aerospace experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Unpack and put away materials
- Deliver finished products to other departments / areas
- Get raw materials from other departments / areas
- Prepare material and parts to support welders
- Assembling components so they are ready for welding
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
