About The Position

The Welder Helper performs general labor duties based on job-site and department needs, supports material handling and preparation, and assists with specialized tasks that may require on-the-job training. The role requires safe use of tools and equipment, maintaining an organized work area, and following company safety policies, procedures, and standards. The swing shift runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to safely use tools and equipment required for the position.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties as assigned based on job-site and department needs.
Safely and effectively use heavy and light equipment, including tape measures, power drills, grinders, saws, machine tools, and other tools required for the assignment.
Assist with loading, unloading, moving, organizing, and preparing materials as needed.
Perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, standing, bending, and working in different job-site conditions.
Complete specialized tasks that may require on-the-job training.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
