JOB SUMMARY: The Welder Trainee is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product; weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines. The Welder will also weld/rework various products and perform different weld techniques including flat, vertical, overhead positions, and rework raw and/or finished products. Pay: $19 YOUR IMPACT: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Eager to learn.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place.
- Adjust welding components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Accurately operate and read measuring devices.
- Assemble and weld various metals parts together.
- Properly position material/parts to be welded.
