About The Position
This is a welding position with a starting pay of $30.04 per hour. Responsibilities include performing welding in all positions (laying down, kneeling, standing, overhead), working in confined spaces and at heights over 6 feet, and handling welding equipment weighing 20-66lbs. The role requires the ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
Requirements
- Must be able to demonstrate Welding ability/skill during assessment (interview)
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job
- FCAW groove welding to U.T Testing standards
- Perform Fillet weld tests with the following processes FCAW/GMAW-P to Visual Testing standards
- Knowledge of AWS Welding Symbols
- Welding equipment setup and operation
Responsibilities
- Perform welding in all positions (laying down, kneeling, standing, overhead)
- Be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights over 6 feet
- Be able to carry/lift and setup welding equipment ranging from 20-66lbs
- Must be able to work inside/outside
- Must be able to wear a respirator
