About The Position

Build heavy-duty skid steer attachments from start to finish, not repetitive production parts, in a clean, organized shop where your craftsmanship matters and your skills continue to grow. Road Runner Equipment designs and manufactures premium skid steer attachments, cutting edges, and related equipment for customers in the construction, agriculture, landscaping, and industrial markets. Every attachment that leaves our shop is built to withstand demanding job-site conditions and deliver years of dependable performance. Requirements

  • At least one year of MIG welding experience
  • Basic fabrication and metalworking skills
  • Confidently reads and interprets blueprints, fabrication drawings, and production specifications to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Demonstrates dependable attendance, works well independently and with others, communicates respectfully, and enjoys contributing to a positive shop environment.
  • Takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and is eager to continue learning new skills, including robotic welding and additional manufacturing processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience welding structural steel, heavy equipment, or skid steer attachments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders to build quality equipment.
  • Perform MIG welding on heavy-gauge steel components used in skid steer attachments and related equipment.
  • Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts according to production specifications.
  • Inspect welds and completed products to ensure they meet our high standards for quality and durability.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Complete work accurately and on schedule while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Cross-train in robotic welding, assembly, shipping, and additional manufacturing functions to expand your skill set.
