About The Position
Gerhart is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their talented team based in Tatamy, PA. This role offers an opportunity to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career. The ideal candidate must be motivated, coachable, and ready to be hands-on.
Requirements
- Familiar with common metal shop tools and equipment. (i.e. welders - TIG & MIG, Brazing, Cutting Torches, grinders, breaks, drills, taps, saws, fixtures, measuring, etc.)
- Effective communication skills is a must
- Capable of working both independently and as a team to perform all jobs and projects
- Previous work experience with Pipe Fitting, Tube Bending, Compression Fitting Experience
- Forklift Certification
- Physically Fit; position requires consistent lifting, moving, and carrying product 50 lb or more
- Willing and able to bend, crawl, and lift for extended periods of time in a safe manner meeting company guidelines and OSHA standards
- Self-motivated with critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Fabricate from professional blue prints or sketches as required
- Work with a variety of metal welding and grinding/sanding techniques in order to work at a very high degree of কিনা accuracy and finished product
- Fabricate from raw material to finished product
