About The Position
This is an opportunity for a hands-on Welder/Fabricator to set up and operate fabrication and welding equipment to produce high-quality steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components built to exact specifications. The role involves turning raw materials into precision-built components and requires knowledge of fabrication and welding equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience
- Strong blueprint reading ability
- Experience with fabrication/welding equipment
- Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Comfortable performing basic math (fractions, decimals, measurements)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical instructions
Nice To Haves
- Alloy experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment (cold saws, Bridgeport mills, shears, brake presses, welding machines)
- Perform welding, grinding, deburring, and finishing work
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine machine maintenance and support uptime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support production flow and continuous improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
