Requirements
- Competent with semi-automatic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) all positions
- 3-5 years experience
- Competent with manual shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) all positions
- Competent with oxy-fuel torching
- Competent with carbon-arc torching
- Knowledge of portable line boring and basic machining
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- High School Diploma
Responsibilities
- Cut raw steel material
- Milling, drilling, and lathe work
- Fit and tack weldments together
- Final welding of structures
- Portable line boring
- Fabrication of hydraulic tube and hose assemblies
- Installation of hydraulic plumbing on weldments
