Requirements

• 2+ years of experience are desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Technical training or welding certifications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all processing and packaging machinery by carrying out preventative maintenance.
• Respond to breakdowns and other work assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor;
• Maintain equipment parts lists and manuals, determining necessary parts required for routine maintenance and necessary parts required for inventory to ensure maximum production time;
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC Mchines;
• Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, conveyor/auger systems, and electrical troubleshooting;
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications;
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on various metal components;
• Measure and inspect part using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges);
• Must work in compliance with established HACCP, Food Safety, and GMP protocols and report any concerns to your supervisor;
• Must work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures, and report all unsafe or unhealthy conditions to your supervisor;
• Effective communication, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills required; must be organized, have excellent attendance, and be reliable;
• Ensure finished parts meet quality standards and required tolerances;
• Other duties as assigned.
