About The Position

This position is for applicants with 0 to 3 years welding experience. This can be a green employee. The Welder C utilizes knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials including the specifications of the particular equipment to be used in the process. The Welder C must be able to weld butts and bulbs in all positions and pass Ultrasonic (UT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) test methods. Tank testing and associated duties are also required.

Requirements

• 0 to 3 years welding experience
• Ability to weld butts and bulbs in all positions
• Ability to pass Ultrasonic (UT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) test methods

Nice To Haves

• Ability to pass a welding test in the overhead and vertical positions based on certifications being sought.

Responsibilities

• Welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.
• Utilizes knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials including the specifications of the equipment to be used in the process.
• Welds butts and bulbs in all positions and pass Ultrasonic (UT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) test methods.
• Performs tank testing and associated duties as required.
