About The Position
We are looking for passionate, hard-working individuals to join our production staff. This role is responsible for MIG and TIG welds to rotor cores, lamination rings, and brazing. The company is focused on innovation and creating a better society through technology and products.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and write
Nice To Haves
- MIG and TIG welding experience
Responsibilities
- Makes correct settings on welders including speeds and feeds as well as proper setups of products to be welded
- Inspects quality of material being welded necessary to prevent rework
- Assembles laminations to lengths
- Presses and welds rotor cores
- Takes coils and measures to size, cuts to length, and puts ring in jigs and welds
- Grinds and cleans rotor cores after welding
- Brazes copper pole pates and copper conduction rods
- Exercises good housekeeping
- Observes required safety practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
