About The Position

The Welder will be responsible for performing MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication, and building functions in the manufacture of various products in accordance with product specifications. This role requires the ability to work independently, interpret blueprints, and utilize various tools and equipment. The Welder will also be responsible for equipment maintenance and adhering to CWB & DIN6700 welding standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranes
• Must be able to obtain CWB certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices

Nice To Haves

• CWB welding certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG Welding based on product needs.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform necessary tasks.
• Working knowledge of fixturing and assembly techniques.
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measures, hammers, levels, squares, manual and power tools, forklifts, and cranes to assemble to stated requirements.
• Use pneumatic tools, grinders, and shears.
• Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Welding equipment maintenance.
• Work in accordance with CWB & DIN6700 welding standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
