About The Position

As a Welder 2 at MKS, you will partner with the Welding department, Engineering, Quality Control to fabricate various MKS products. In this role, you will report to the Welding Supervisor. You will be responsible for the fabrication of Custom Products and modification of products to customer specifications. This role requires proficiency in planning, laying out and performing welding to a variety of stainless-steel valves, gauges and other components. You will work with engineers in custom product design for production and complete fabrication and assembly welding from blueprints, verbal and written instructions. You will also modify standard valves and components per application and engineering specifications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience required
• Requires TIG welding experience
• Ability to utilize complicated drawings and specifications
• Advanced mathematics
• Proficiency with a variety of precision measuring instruments
• Trade knowledge equivalent to training in a formal apprenticeship program

Responsibilities
