About The Position

The Latham MR Magnets facility is a manufacturing and development site for Magnetic Resonance Imaging magnets and other superconducting products used in Philips Magnetic Resonance Imaging and other customers. Your role: The ability to perform precise high-quality TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel The ability to run an automated welding cell by confidently operating and overseeing a robotic welding system. You will be required to set up the equipment, monitor its performance, and make adjustments to ensure each weld meets quality standards and handle routine maintenance Ability to cut, bend, drill, tap, and perform similar operations as required to fabricate intricate assemblies encountered in cryogenic applications Ability to read and understand drawings and supporting documents Demonstrated ability to use precision instruments

Requirements

1+ years of welding experience
Experience using mechanical assembly tools
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to create high quality TIG and Mig welds
Ability to perform excellent vacuum leak tight TIG welds on aluminum
Ability to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
