About The Position

This position is for the 1st Shift, with hours from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, and offers a pay rate of $26.46.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Some technical knowledge.
Ability to follow standard work and procedures.
Experience in using power tools helpful.

Responsibilities

Perform and complete welding duties and responsibilities on a variety of different types of outdoor power equipment.
Assist supervisor with training of new employees, including reading and interpreting Exmark blueprints, clean up and care of weld equipment and weld booth, and in use of jigs and weld fixtures and welding methods.
Carry out a first-piece inspection at the beginning of and midway through the shift.
Assist welders with questions regarding weld equipment.
Periodically check for quality (splatter, porosity, etc.) as directed by supervisor.
Help out wherever needed to keep things moving.
Substitute for absent employees in a work cell or booth, potentially for a full shift.
Assist and fill-in for the supervisor as needed.
Actively look for opportunities to improve methods, material flow, safety, and the work environment.
May be required to help out in other areas or departments needed to keep the value stream moving.
