Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary education preferred, or related experience
- Perform plasma cutting, grinding, and polishing
- Multitask, handle stress, implement advice, avoid distractions, adapt to changes, and work well with others
- Follow work instructions and routines to comply with TS16949 requirements
- Manage workload, schedule, break times, productivity, and teamwork
- Able to be flexible in hours of work on short notice in order to meet internal/external customer requirements, scheduled and nonscheduled overtime shifts, etc.
- Work extended hours and altered schedules to provide coverage for production requirements and scheduled time off
- Possible Shift Work
- Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Operate standard office equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspects, tests, sorts, samples or weighs processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defects, wear and deviations from specifications.
- Provides statistical analyses and segregation of suspect goods and initiates reject reports.
- Uses precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
- Ensures specified quality assurance standards are met.
