Job Responsibilities: Inspects, tests, sorts, samples or weighs processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defects, wear and deviations from specifications. Provides statistical analyses and segregation of suspect goods and initiates reject reports. Uses precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment. Ensures specified quality assurance standards are met.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Post-secondary education preferred, or related experience
  • Able to be flexible in hours of work on short notice in order to meet internal/external customer requirements, scheduled and nonscheduled overtime shifts, etc.
  • Work extended hours and altered schedules to provide coverage for production requirements and scheduled time off

Nice To Haves

  • Perform plasma cutting, grinding, and polishing
  • Multitask, handle stress, implement advice, avoid distractions, adapt to changes, and work well with others
  • Follow work instructions and routines to comply with TS16949 requirements
  • Manage workload, schedule, break times, productivity, and teamwork
  • Possible Shift Work
  • Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Operate standard office equipment preferred
