We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Weld Cell Operator to work on trailer fabrication in our newest facility in Mesquite, TX.

Requirements

• Must possess the ability to read and understand electrical schematics/diagrams.
• Must possess the ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Must maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. but up to 65 lbs. on an occasional basis.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
• Electrical Assembly: 1 year preferred.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical experience: 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate CNC Robotic Welder for first step in trailer fabrication.
• Ability to read and decipher engineering prints to high degree of accuracy.
• Responsible for the set-up and operation of robotic welding equipment.
• Responsible for minor machine maintenance (changing out consumables).
• Cleans and maintains work area according to 5S program every day.
• Responsible for quality of product produced in his/her work area.
• Material handling duties are required.
• Performs quality inspection of welds.
• Communicates clearly, promptly, and openly.
• Keeps the supervisor apprised of issues related to daily performance.
• Maintains discipline and a safe working environment.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must be willing to be cross-trained in all areas of production.
• Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable.
