The Weld & Automation Technician role provides essential technical support for robotic welding, resistance welding, automated assembly equipment, fixtures, tooling, and related production processes within the Assembly, Bender, and Weld (ABW) department. This position is crucial for maintaining production equipment in a safe, reliable, and production-ready state, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the manufacture of quality parts. The technician will troubleshoot equipment and process issues, perform repairs and adjustments, support maintenance activities, and collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve recurring problems. As a 3rd-shift resource, this role requires independent evaluation of equipment and process concerns, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and escalation of significant issues to ensure safe and efficient production.
