About The Position
This is an internship opportunity at W Barcelona, a hotel designed by Ricardo Bofill with 473 rooms and suites and five exclusive venues. The Welcome Department operates under the 'Whatever/Whenever' philosophy, focusing on guest imagination and associate empowerment. The role involves being the first point of contact for guests, staying updated on Barcelona's latest offerings, and enhancing the guest experience with a 'W attitude'. Responsibilities include managing check-in/out procedures, assisting guests, acting as an 'Insider' for local recommendations, and interacting with other hotel departments like Housekeeping and Reservations. This program offers hands-on experience in hotel operations, immersing interns in Marriott's culture and business, and preparing them for post-graduation opportunities in the travel industry.
Requirements
- Must be a current college or university student
- Must be able to have an internship agreement with an educational entity (university, master's…)
