About The Position

Purpose within the Organization: Provide marketing and office support for daily operations within the Welcome Programs Department. Responsibilities Related to Purpose: - Direct support for the Welcome Programs team - Social media support - Capture, edit, and produce a variety of media and marketing content - Network with departments, vendors, and students - Adhere to Grand Canyon University brand guidelines - Position may involve graphic design projects. Experience with graphic design tools, including design software preferred - Other responsibilities as needed - List & report management - Event support - Office administration tasks (front desk coverage & answer phone calls/emails) - Budget reconciliation Equipment Used and Responsibility - MS Office - Canva/Adobe Illustrator - HootSuite Schedule: - Summer Hours, 30-35hrs/hrs week - Academic year, 20/hrs week - You’ll typically work M-F during business hours with occasion other hours Qualifications: - Full-time, degree-seeking GCU student - Must have summer availability, 30-35/hrs week - Excellent written and oral communication - Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail - Ability to balance multiple tasks at one time - Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - Desire to learn new skills - Able to take and receive direction from Welcome Programs staff regarding design material - Experience in managing social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc) Pay Rate: Minimum Wage Reports to: Operations Manager Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2026 GCU's Christian worldview has shaped the university's mission and growth for more than 65 years.
