About The Position

Grand Canyon University is currently seeking a Welcome Programs Marketing & Communications Coordinator! This role will coordinate all marketing and communication efforts while maintaining brand standards. In addition, this role will assist in coordinating various events on campus. What you will do: Develop and coordinate marketing and communication efforts (e.g. video, written copy, social media, promotional items, and digital assets) pertaining to the Department of Welcome Programs. Review and edit a variety of media and marketing content with a high level of attention to detail. Responsible for managing marketing projects including but not limited to print, social media, promotional items, website, and digital asset management. Provide artistic direction and design for a variety of marketing efforts to reach goal demographic. Maintain brand standards across all campaigns while continuously expanding knowledge of marketing best practices, processes, and relevant industry trends. Track and maintain contact lists for email and text communication campaigns. Collect and analyze data through a variety of means (e.g., surveys, focus groups) to provide feedback for management in assessing the effectiveness of department programming. Assist in day-of coordination of Welcome Week, Spring Welcome Week, Lopes Out, Family Weekend, Lope Family Programs, and other programs as necessary. Other duties as assigned. What you will have: Bachelor’s degree required from a regionally accredited institution, preferably in marketing or communications. 1 year of experience in marketing with exposure to project coordination. Must have a valid driver’s license. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends when necessary. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation.
