About The Position

Morrison Healthcare at Calvert Health Medical Hospital is seeking a Weight Management/Bariatric Surgery Dietitian in Prince Frederick, MD. This role is within an Acute Care/Outpatient setting and is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. Requirements

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
1-2 years experience in acute care preferred
Recent graduates will be considered but must be registered and licensed in the State of Maryland.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
