About The Position

This position is responsible for performing trailer switches, transporting trailers between off-site locations, and performing daily inspections of yard equipment. The role also involves general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trailers and operating forklift-type equipment. The schedule for this role is Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be DOT qualified with a current class A CDL.
• Must be able to back 48’ and 53’ trailers proficiently.
• Driving record (MVR) must be acceptable.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes, as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required trailer switches, most of which are urgent and critical.
• Transport trailers between off-site locations.
• Perform daily inspections of yard equipment and report all defects.
• Ensure units are maintained in a safe manner.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed, including loading and unloading trailers.
• Operate forklift-type equipment.
