Weekend Server $18-$20/hr (Part-Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Weekend Warrior Server to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $18.00-$20.00 per hour. We are looking for an individual with a positive and energetic attitude who loves our residents and can foster a welcoming, connected environment. The role involves being a great host, preparing for service, maintaining tidiness, and observing resident dining habits. This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobility and after falls. Candidates must be at least sixteen years of age, proficient in English (8th-grade level), and criminally cleared.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to assist persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
