About The Position
Weekend Directional Service is seeking reliable independent contractors to place and pick up temporary directional signs. This is a simple, independent role that can be completed in just a few hours each weekend. This opportunity offers a flexible way to earn extra income on the weekends and has the potential to grow into your own small business. The role is ideal for rideshare drivers, delivery drivers, students, retirees, veterans, or anyone looking for reliable supplemental income.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle with space for 30–60 signs
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android, ~4 years old or newer)
- Ability to lift and place signs outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground as needed
- Dependability to complete routes within required time windows

Responsibilities
- Place signs between Friday 5:00 PM – Saturday 10:00 AM
- Pick up signs between Sunday 6:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
- Follow provided Google Maps routes and/or placement lists
- Complete routes in any order within the allowed time windows
- Store signs safely between weekends
- Use your own vehicle to complete local routes
