About The Position

Wekiva Springs Center, a leading behavioral health hospital located in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient Adult and Dual Diagnosis programs. The role primarily involves conducting initial psychiatric evaluations, with follow-up visits and discharges. Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Psychiatry (BC preferred).
• Active or eligible Florida license.
• Active DEA.
• Comfortable treating all ages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-up visits, and discharges.
• Provide on-site presence on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Handle telephonic overnight call for weekends (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide holiday and vacation coverage.
