About The Position
Join WesleyLife and Help Revolutionize the Aging Experience! This role involves providing direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. You will conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed. For RNs, this includes conducting admission assessments into the Health Center and entering data into Point Click Care (PCC). You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize resident care, communicate with physicians and families, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- State of Iowa RN or LPN license

- Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
- Conduct admission assessments into the Health Center and enter into Point Click Care (PCC) (RNs only).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
