About The Position

You will conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed. RNs will also conduct admission assessments into the Health Center and enter data into Point Click Care (PCC). Collaboration with the healthcare team, including physicians and families, is essential for optimizing resident care. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols is crucial for maintaining a safe environment.
Requirements
- State of Iowa RN or LPN license
Nice To Haves
- Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
- Conduct admission assessments into the Health Center and enter into Point Click Care (PCC) (RNs only).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
