Requirements

  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Finger/hand dexterity in order to operate food machinery with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare made-to-order omelets and egg dishes according to guest requests.
  • Set up and maintain the omelet station before and throughout breakfast service.
  • Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other breakfast items.
  • Cook eggs and other breakfast items safely and consistently.
  • Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service while working at the station.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, presentation, and proper temperatures.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
  • Replenish ingredients as needed during service.
  • Assist the culinary team with breakfast preparation and other duties when needed.
  • Properly clean and break down the station at the end of service.
  • Follow hotel and culinary department standards and procedures.
