About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Warrior Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Wellington in Liberty, MO. This full-time role focuses on creating human connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments, understanding their interests and abilities, and partnering with them throughout their daily lives. The position involves setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments, documenting resident care, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to assist persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Understand the importance of empathy.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments (e.g., dining room, library, resident rooms).
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
