About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring reliable, experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) licensed in the state of Maryland to provide quality in-home care for a Weekend Live-In caregiver position. This role involves providing weekday, evening, and weekend shifts to fit your schedule. Candidates must have dependable transportation and a genuine passion for helping others maintain comfort and dignity in their own homes.

Requirements

Current Maryland CNA license (required)
Current CPR Certification
Negative PPD test or Chest X-ray
Minimum 2 years of experience in home health care, home care, assisted living, or a healthcare facility
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must pass a criminal background check
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
Provide a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients.
Perform light housekeeping and home management duties.
Plan and prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
Follow the nursing plan of care and maintain accurate care records.
Encourage independence, mental alertness, and emotional well-being through companionship and support.
Attend required in-service training and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
